The Leigh Neighbours Partnership Board is looking to recruit a minute taker to support them by maintaining an accurate and official record of their monthly Board meetings. The successful applicant will have good literacy levels, a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of basic grammar and good keyboard skills. They will be reliable, punctual and trustworthy. They also need to have access to a computer.
The post involves taking minutes of the monthly Board meetings, including a summary of the discussions on each item of business, details of decisions reached and any actions required of Board members. Training will be provided
The successful applicant will be paid £40 for approximately 5 hours work per month, which includes attendance at the monthly Board meetings (held at a central location in Leigh) as well as time dedicated to drafting the final minutes. They will be responsible for making their own arrangements around Tax, National Insurance and any other employment expenses.
