Big Bike Revival makes a BIG impact!

It just goes to show, our project area is full of fairweather cyclists who are keen to get back in the saddle! Our recent Big Bike Revival event, held in June at Sacred Heart primary school, proved to be really popular, with cyclists of all ages queuing around the playground to get their bike serviced and to claim their free goodies.

Simon Dale of Gearing Up hosted the event in partnership with Leigh Neighbours. He says:

“The free workshop was all about giving people who aren’t regular cyclists an opportunity to dust off their bike, make it fit for the road and encourage them to get back in the saddle. We’re definitely planning more events of this kind so watch this space!”
